Cooley-Baumgarten Aortic Clamp

Cooley-Baumgarten Aortic Clamp slightly-curved jaw & shanks, 2-1/2" (6.4 cm) jaw length, 7-1/2" (19.1cm) Cooley Baumgarten Aortic Clamp is designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. The ring handles make this instrument easy to manipulate and comfortable to grasp. Additionally, this clamp features a slightly curved jaw and shaft which allows this tool to be contoured to the area where it is being used without causing damage. This instrument is most useful in clamping of the aorta to reduce or totally block blood flow in the aorta to section off a particular portion during surgery.

Cooley-Derra Anastomosis Clamp

Cooley-Derra Anastomosis Clamp 6-1/2" (16.5 cm) Cooley Derra Anastomosis Clamp is designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures that require anastomosis of two vessels. These clamps are specially designed to partially occlude major vessels like the carotid artery, aorta, or inferior vena cava especially in situations where full obstruction of flow is not necessary. Also this instrument features calibrations at 5 mm intervals to give a way to quickly and accurate give measurements while in surgery. This instrument is available in three different jaw sizes: small, medium and large making it able to accommodate a wide variety of vessel sizes and surgical scenarios.
