Gill Corneal Knife

3.0 mm wide, 5-1/4" (13.5 cm) Gill Corneal Knife is a commonly used blade in corneal surgeries. The blade may be used to scrape the anterior corneal surface to remove the epithelium, frequently done following a corneal lesion. With proper surgical technique, the knife may also be used to dissect the deeper layers of the cornea as needed. Both straight and curved models are available depending on surgical preference.

Gill Iris Forceps

curved, 0.6 mm tip, 1x2 teeth down, 3" (7.5 cm) Gills Iris Forceps are a specially designed tool for handling iris tissue during ophthalmologic procedures. This particular model features a strongly curved shaft accommodating the natural curvature of the tissue. The forceps also feature 1x2 teeth that drop below the level of the shaft upon closure, causing minimal protrusion.
