Titanium Debakey-Gerald Tissue Forceps
Titanium Debakey-Gerald Tissue Forceps
1.0 mm tips
Novo Surgical's Titanium DeBakey-Gerald Tissue Forceps are made for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures and are formed from strong, corrosion resistant titanium. The distal end features two delicate tips that are 1.0 mm apart for grasping and mobilizing vascular tissue or vessels. It features a handle that broadens to allow a secure and comfortable grasp and is available with either a lightweight round handle or a flat handle. This instrument is available in two lengths 7.25" and 8.25", the former available in either handle style.
Titanium Dennis-Type Micro Ring Tip Forceps
Titanium Gerald Dressing Forceps
Titanium Gerald Dressing Forceps
serrated, 7" (17.5 cm)
Titanium Gerald Dressing Forceps are well suited for cardiothoracic surgical procedures for general purpose handling of vascular and other tissue in the surgical field. Only the very distal portion of these forceps features narrowing to allow careful handling of tissue. The titanium build provides added stability and strength to the lightweight design as well as a corrosion and glare resistance surface.
Titanium Gerald Ring Tip Forceps
Titanium Gerald Ring Tip Forceps
tips impregnated w/ fine tungsten carbide dust, flat handle, 1.0 mm tips
Titanium Gerald Ring Tip Forceps are designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. These forceps feature a slightly broader and flat area for comfortable gripping that narrows into 1.0 mm delicate tips for careful handling of tissue, vascular and otherwise. Additionally, these tips are dusted with fine tungsten carbide making them stronger and sturdier without adding bulk to the lightweight design. This instrument is available in two sizes: 7" and 8.75".
Titanium Infant Vascular Tissue Forceps
Titanium Infant Vascular Tissue Forceps
1.5 mm tips, 6" (15.0 cm)
Titanium Infant Vascular Tissue Forceps are an ideal tool for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures in infants. These forceps are designed with handles that taper into 1.5 mm tips perfectly suited for griping vascular tissue without causing damage or tearing but allowing adequate handling. Additionally, this instrument is formed from titanium making it lightweight and easily maneuverable in procedures require delicate precision.
Titanium Jeweler Bipolar Forceps
Titanium Jeweler Bipolar Forceps
undefined
Titanium Jeweler Bipolar Forceps are designed to minimize heat and current while coagulating. For use during bipolar electrosurgical procedures, these forceps have a 0.4 mm tip and are available in a variety of styles. There are 30 degree angled tips, curved tips, straight tips, and 90 degree angled tips, all of which are available with insulation and insulation with irrigation. These forceps combine the usefulness of bipolar and titanium forceps. Bipolar forceps are designed to control temperatures, minimize heat and current spread and reduce tissue sticking or charring while coagulating during bipolar electrosurgical procedures. They are available in a variety of styles that provide bipolar coagulating capabilities for a wide range of procedures: irrigating or non-irrigating (for flushing surgical site to improve visualization), with or without insulation (to eliminate conduction to surrounding tissues when performing deep procedures), straight or bayonet-shaped (to enhance visibility by keeping the surgeon's hand from the line of sight). These forceps are made from titanium for reduced hand fatigue and increased durability. Titanium is a rare, lustrous metallic element which has proven to be technically superior in a wide variety or medical applications. Forceps manufactured with a lightweight, titanium alloy body offer advantages for procedures that require delicate precision: 1. greater strength and durability than stainless steel, 2. resistance to corrosion, staining and pitting, 3. almost half the weight of stainless steel, offering a more tactile feel with minimal fatigue, 4. blue-colored tint reduces glare, and 5. non-magnetic material resists static buildup.
Titanium Kay Aorta Clamp
Titanium Kay Aorta Clamp
debakey jaws, 3.0 cm jaws, 8" (20.0 cm)
Titanium Kay Aorta Clamp is designed to gently clasp larger vessels in cardiothoracic procedures where surgical anastomosis is needed. The clamp's titanium composition makes it lighter and stronger, as well as non-magnetic, reducing strain on the surgeon. The DeBakey serrated jaws allow for clamping that does not result in trauma.
Titanium Kitzmiller Micro Clamp
Titanium Kitzmiller Micro Clamp
angled debakey jaws, 23.0 mm jaw length, 4-1/4" (11.0 cm)
Titanium Kitzmiller Micro Clamp is designed for use in a variety of cardiothoracic surgeries where small vessels must be occluded. Because it's made of blue-anodized titanium, the clamp is very light, reducing strain on the surgeon without sacrificing strength. It also is non-magnetic, meaning less hassle in the operating room. The jaw configuration features DeBakey serrations for atraumatic occlusion, and both left and right angled options.
Titanium Lambert-Kay Aorta Clamp
Titanium Lambert-Kay Aorta Clamp
debakey jaws, 3.0 cm jaws, 8" (20.0 cm)
Titanium Lambert-Kay Aorta Clamp is generally implemented in cardiothoracic anamostosis procedures involving larger vessels. It is made of titanium, making it extremely strong, exceptionally light, and non-magnetic, which eliminates hassle in the operating room. The clamp is made with DeBakey jaws, which allow for powerful, efficient clamping without causing damage to vessels.
Titanium Micro Needle Holder
Micro Needle Holder is a commonly used tool in postoperative management of ophthalmologic procedures. Particularly, the holder is designed for handling fine monofilament suturing material for delicate would closure. The extremely delicate tips combined with the round fluted handle aid in controlling the suturing equipment. Both straight and curved models are available with the holder depending on surgical preference. Forceps manufactured with a lightweight, titanium alloy body offer advantages for procedures that require delicate precision. They possess greater strength and durability than stainless steel and superior resistance to corrosion, staining and pitting. Titanium forceps are almost half the weight of stainless steel, offering a more tactile feel with minimal fatigue. Finally, blue-colored tint reduces glare and the non-magnetic material resists static buildup.
